Virginia at 11 Months

My last monthly update before I have a
ONE YEAR OLD.
Where has the time gone?

I am a couple weeks late on this update, but here are some fun facts about Virginia when she turned 11 months old.

She makes the sweetest babbling sounds constantly, but isn't saying any "words".

She crawls very well and pulls up on everything.

She has probably ruined the bumper in her crib because she props her legs up on it as if she's lounging. She also has started standing on it.  I tried taking it out for a few days, but one day I heard her fussing and I just thought she was having a hard time falling asleep.  Finally, after about 15 minutes, I checked the monitor and her arm was stuck between the slats.  I went in her room to help her, and her little arm was purple.  :(  So back on the crib the bumpers went.

She loves playing in her room.  She pulls books out of her basket one by one and flips through them.  Adorable!  She can turn the room into a disaster zone in 2.5 seconds.

She loves being outside, even when it's freezing.

She still just has her two bottom teeth.

She did not eat solid foods hardly at all for a few weeks, then started eating them again all of the sudden.

She wakes up twice.  Usually around 1:00 and 4:00.  There were several nights that she woke up every hour.  We have tried e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. to get her to sleep though the night.  Bottle instead of nursing before bed, rice in bottle, big bowl of oatmeal/rice before bed, eating more throughout the day, napping less throughout the day, sticking to a bedtime routine.  Nothing works for this child!

She had her first sick visit this month.  Fever virus followed by a little cold.  Po' thang!

She has the sweetest disposition and is such a happy girl!

We love you, Virginia Alice Little!
