Virginia at 22 Weeks

I forgot to mention in the last post that Virginia is just kicking up a storm these days! The first time I felt her kick was at 18 weeks (I think) and Josh got to feel the kicks that day, too. Since then, Aunt Katie, "Uncle Jason", and "Aunt Meagan" have also gotten to feel her kick. I am bursting with joy and thankfulness knowing that we have so many friends and family who are as excited about this sweet babe as we are! Virginia is going to be one LOVED child!! Speaking of her kicking, she must prefer for her momma to have a totally empty bladder because I often feel as if she is just poking my bladder and saying, "Go to the bathroom! Now, now, now!!" And she usually gets her way... hopefully this isn't a sign of what's to come!

According to BabyCenter, Miss Virginia is 11 inches and almost 1 pound this week. I have an appointment on Wednesday... I'm pretty sure I've gained a good bit of weight, so we'll see. I feel like I still look the same but with a huge GUT! haha. We are going to have another ultrasound at the appointment. Hopefully things will look great and Virginia will be as healthy as can be.

I'm looking forward to hopefully getting some work done on the nursery this week! Hip hip hooray! We have purchased the crib, but it won't be here until the end of November. We've also picked out the crib bedding (ordering from a lady I found on Etsy) and I am going to order it this week. I can't wait to see everything put together!! I'll post updates as they come along!

In other news - Josh and I had a great day Saturday in Tuscaloosa. Josh got to sit in a box with my dad (lucky ducks) and Doc and Mummi were so generous to buy me a ticket to the game, so I sat with them and Benjamin. Jonathan and Katie drove down for the weekend from Lexington, so we got to spend some time with them. When Jonathan saw me he said, "You look pregnant!" We teased him about it a little bit but, really, I loved hearing it! I want to look pregnant and not just like I've put on a few pounds around the middle. So LJ - thank you! :)

We'll take a 22-week belly pic as soon as I decide to shower and look halfway decent. Maybe I'll post sometime soon. No guarantees with me! :)
