Fun Purchase!

Well friends, Josh and I just got a new MacBook and I'm super excited about it!  Unfortunately, I am having trouble posting pictures from iPhoto onto my blog.  It's extremely frustrating to be computer illiterate.  :(   (If anyone knows how to help... this is the problem:  When I try to insert images from my computer, the pictures that I've been uploading and that ARE in iPhoto don't show up to be selected.  The ones that I uploaded a couple weeks ago are there, but not those from the past week or so.  What to do????)

Until I figure that out, here is a little happy for the day... my fun purchase:

(You thought I was talking about the MacBook, didn't you?  That's fun, too, but the thought of this hanging on our mantle every year, stuffed with goodies from Santa, for who-knows-how-long makes me SO HAPPY!)

Josh and I got these stockings last year for ourselves, so when I got an email yesterday from Pottery Barn with "Christmas Stockings" in the subject line, we were ecstatic to order Virginia's stocking asap!  I think the little curvy-toe ones are so cute, but it wouldn't be quite fair for Mom and Dad's stockings to be bigger than Virginia's, now would it?  These stockings are very inexpensive from PB (there's a shocker!), with free monogramming and free shipping going on right now... just $17 to have this lovely treat mailed to our house donning our little girl's sweet name!  Maybe I should go ahead and order more for all of the other children I hope to have someday?  Okay, okay, bad idea!  But on that note -- PB has these same stockings every year, so if the day comes that we need more, they'll be ready!

My Christmas decorations might be coming out on November 1st this year!
