Raggedy Ann

I have SO much catch up work to do, but I cannot keep these photos trapped in my computer any longer!

We dressed up Miss Virginia last night for the Trunk or Treat....

Now, I know she's mine...
but SERIOUSLY??  Our little Raggedy Ann is almost too much to handle!!!

I was finishing that crazy wig and sewing snaps on her dress
up until an hour before we had to leave.
What's new?
My grandmother had the pattern for the actual Raggedy Ann doll,
so that's what I used for the dress and apron.
I'm sure Grandmother and my aunts would die if they saw the details
on this get-up.
Let's just say I'm not ready to sell clothes on Etsy.
But I did have so much fun learning how to make clothes for V, and I plan on finding some patterns for actual people (not dolls) and giving them a try!

While Josh and I were getting ready, our buddies Jason and Meagan showed up with their camera to see our baby girl in her first Halloween costume.
I was so glad, because I didn't really have time to snap pictures, and look at these gems that Jason took!!!!

Oooooohhhhh, I love that girl!

They also took what I believe is the first family picture we have had in about 6 months.
Josh wants it to be our Christmas card picture because he likes it so much!
I told him that we BETTER have another family picture between now and Christmas!

This is NOT indicative of how Virginia feels about J&M... She was just hungry!
(And a little confused as to why there was a mop stuck to her head!)
I love how much they love our sweet girl!

We then headed to the Trunk or Treat for a while and ended the evening at the Jackson's fall festival.
Virginia was a trooper and stayed awake until 10:00PM!  That is 3 whole hours past her bedtime, but she was a little angel doll the whole night!

Josh and I (especially Josh!) have been so excited about Halloween with Virginia,
so we had a blast last night seeing her all dolled up.
(Josh started asking me what she was going to be for Halloween in June.)

We love you, Raggedy Ann!!
