30 weeks!

I CANNOT BELIEVE there are only ~10 weeks to go!  Where has the time gone?  It seems like I hear a new story every day of someone who has delivered 2 or 3 weeks early (or even earlier), so I'm trying to get all of my ducks in a row before Christmas.  I was the girl who literally had all of her stuff packed for college and in the garage two months before classes started my freshman year, so, Yeah, you better believe that I am going to be as prepared as possible for my sweet baby to get here!

At the 30 week appointment today:

-My weight gain is up to 18 pounds from pre-pregnancy until now
-I'm measuring at 29 weeks, which she said is great and probably means that I'm not going to have a 9 pound baby... Hip hip hooray!
-I got a shot of Rhogam (My blood type is O-negative and Josh's is A-positive, so this will prevent my body from fighting off V's blood if it is positive.  Sounds kind of strange/scary to me, but it's really no big deal.  As long as I have that shot, V and I are good to go.)
-My blood pressure is still good... 110/60
-Virginia's heart rate was 137

From now on, I'll be going to the doc every two weeks instead of four.  One more appointment until Christmas!

Sweet Virginia -- keep growing and kicking!  Not too much longer until I get to hold you in my arms!!
